  • Occupancy Rates Increasing

  • The Occupancy rates of the hotels are increasing due to the new transport incentive scheme of the authorities.  Charter flights from 13 different destinations are expected to increase tourist incomings and revenues of North Cyprus.

  • New 5 star hotel Noah's Ark Deluxe Hotel & Casino, Pine Bay Club Hotel and Sammys Hotel became member of the North Cyprus Hoteliers Association in July 2011.

  • Visit of TUROFED

  • North Cyprus Hoteliers Association (KITOB) hosted the Hoteliers Federation of Turkey (TUROFED) in May.  Turofed and KITOB  has signed a cooperation protocol to increase their already established contacts.  Two NGOs will establishe joint working group to work on projects to improve tourism sector in both destinations.

  • North Cyprus Hoteliers Association (KITOB) has attend to the 2011 International Azerbaijan Tourism  and Travel Fair (AITF 2011) at the end of April.  At the beginning of May, the KITOB has also attend to the Arabian Travel Market in 2011.

  • 1.Kyrenia Art and Culture Fair

  • North Cyprus Hoteliers Association was part of the 1.Kyrenia Art and Culture Fair that was organized by the Kyrenia Municipality between 2-20 August 2011.  The Opening was at the Kyrenia Castle on 2nd of August 2011.
